About Quinese Atkins-Benjamin
Quinese Atkins-Benjamin is a singer, actor, and teacher who loves what she does! Growing up singing and performing on her kitchen steps with the bar stools as her audience, she knew that singing would be her life’s purpose. Quinese began singing in her dad’s church as a child. Realizing her gift of song, her mother started her in voice lessons. As the years passed the voice lessons became state competitions. The state competitions became festivals, and then into stage plays, which led to the release of her single. Quinese was privileged enough to get her voice heard by the likes of Eric Benet, Etta James, and finally Pete Escovedo, who even asked Quinese to sing with him and his band at some of his gigs. Since then, Quinese has traveled the U. S. as a vocal coach, a choir teacher, an acting teacher, and even a dance/movement teacher. Now, as a Certified Expert Instructor of The Powell Method, Quinese teaches a wide range of styles of music: classical, country, gospel, jazz, musical theatre, R&B and even rock. Her students love and adore her and most of all get the results they always wanted for their singing voices. Quinese is truly a performer and vocal instructor to be reckoned with!
