About Mark Robinson

Currently residing in Jacksonville, FL, Mark Robinson has been a Certified Expert Instructor of The Powell Method since 2009 and a private voice instructor for many years prior to his Powell Method Certification. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education from West Virginia State University and a Master of Arts in applied voice from Marshall University.  His vocal career spans from local civic, community, and chamber ensembles in Charleston, WV, and Wilmington NC, to operatic productions with the West Virginia Symphony and Jacksonville Symphony orchestras including Pagliacci, Carmen, Il Trovatore, La Traviata, and Turandot.   He has also been an active member of the Jacksonville Symphony Chorus.  Recently Mark has rekindled his interest in musical theatre by appearing in the Jacksonville world premiere of Aussie Song.
